Supporting the Cambodia Children’s Fund
– Gala Dinner

The Choices Flooring Magic Carpet Ride (MCR) in Phuket, Thailand was a memorable week for nearly 400 Members and Alliance Partners from Australia and New Zealand in April.

Along with cultural events, a rock concert by Australian music legend Ross Wilson, and a secluded island beach party, one of the highlights was Choices Flooring’s $10,000 donation to the Cambodian Children’s Fund (CCF).

The CCF is breaking the cycles of poverty and abuse and creating change in Cambodia by building the capacity of the most disadvantaged and vulnerable communities: those with the most poverty, the greatest health and social problems, and the least access to basic resources.

CCF was founded by a remarkable Australian, Scott Neeson, who started life as a movie projectionist in Elizabeth SA rising through the ranks to become President of Fox International. 

 Following the MCR, Brett and Leanne Sturgess (MJS Floorcoverings) escorted Member and Central Office delegates to the surrounding areas of the Steung Meanchey (outside Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s capital) to meet with the CCF team who support the children in this poverty-stricken community. Many Members and Alliance Partners asked how they too could support this cause. 

Apart from donating, the CCF are having their Inaugural Gala dinner co-hosted with MJS Floorcoverings at the National Gallery of Victoria on Friday 20 October 2023. You can book a seat or a table to help support this amazing cause.
