The product team wanted to share an update on the work they have been doing as more stores transition from Tablet (Pie Warmer) displays to Drape stands.

Tablets to Drapes Sampling

An update on the work we have been doing as more stores transition from Tablet (Pie Warmer) displays to Drape stands.

We have been exploring fresh display ideas and a big thank you goes to David and Elisia Gairen at Choices Flooring Esperance for their feedback. Their approach has helped shape a new format that we will roll out from the start of 2026.

During Nicole and my recent visit to CF Esperance, Elisia walked us through a clever set-up using two ranges of Rendezvous on a single Drape stand. Both ranges have the same colour palette, with the stand showing the two weight options on one full Drape format. 

This gives customers an easy way to compare how each weight feels without needing to move between stands.  It also creates a much smoother experience for anyone trying to benchmark options.

We will be introducing this display option for Drape sampling.  Products with the same colour palette in dual weights will now be displayed together on one single Drape stand (full size drapes 690 x 1100 mm), allowing customers to easily compare the differences in one place.

While the focus is on giving customers a clearer and more enjoyable selection process, members will also benefit: this consolidation frees up display space for additional ranges and helps reduce sampling costs.

In the next few weeks, your Amtico representative will contact you to discuss possible opportunities and find out which Collection sample folders you’re interested in.

A concise preferred product matrix from Amtico, along with their Team Contact list, will be available via RBOS for your reference from 1 September.

For members who may have previously added any locally maintained Amtico products in their RBOS, please ensure these are updated to reflect Amtico International Pty Ltd Australia & New Zealand (the Central Office managed profile) as the supplier.

To avoid confusion, we recommend clearly distinguishing your locally created Amtico supplier profile from the Central Office profile.  A simple way to do this is by renaming your local profile to include “(local)” at the end of the supplier’s name.

Kenbrock Flooring will be transitioned to Gerflor Australasia

Effective 1 December 2025, Kenbrock Flooring will be transitioned to Gerflor Australasia Pty Ltd, following the integration of Kenbrock Flooring into the Gerflor Group.

What this means for you:

• Future orders of Duraplank, Duraplank XL, Cushionwood XL, Cushionstone, Smartdrop Ultimate and residential rolls will be invoiced and managed by Gerflor Australasia Pty Ltd
• Your primary contacts and support channels will remain unchanged

From an administrative perspective, the Newfurn / Kenbrock Central Billing account will close on 31 December 2025, and:

• Any claims related to Kenbrock products must be lodged before this date
• All future sales of Kenbrock products will be processed through the Gerflor Australasia Central Billing account

For BOS users:

For members who have previously added any locally maintained Kenbrock Flooring products in BOS, please update these items to list Gerflor Australasia (the Central Office managed profile) as the supplier.
